About this deal

The vaults were sealed off and completely abandoned in 1815 and weren't rediscovered until 1985 - and since then, numerous ghostly sightings and experiences have been reported.

The episode ends with Yvette and Karl holding one last vigil in part of the museum, which was dressed up to look like a military dental surgery, but the investigation was cut short when Yvette let out an almighty and prolonged scream, and ran from the building with a worried Karl following. Working on its smart meter campaign to encourage people to get a smart meter installed, she said living in a ‘big old farmhouse’ has meant her bills were something to fear more than a demon with a penchant for throwing sharp objects. While sitting quietly, Yvette begins to goad the spirit to which Derek screams “CON. FRON. TATION!” while Yvette immediately flies to the other end of the room with an impressive speed. The name Moresby is likely to have derived from a connection with a settler (probably called Morisceby, Mawriceby or Moricebi) as early as 1150. There’s no way in hell, I still don’t, I’ll look at the social media and I can tell what’s happening in the show but I can’t watch it,’ she laughed. ‘Even though I do it, I can’t watch anything spooky because it’ll mess with my head. TV shows featuring real people telling their ghost stories are a dime a dozen these days, and it's easy to see why. Who doesn't like to get a little scared in the safety of their own home? The fact that the stories are said to be true just adds to the decadence. Haunted, which recently released its third season on Netflix, brings its offering of the genre in an enjoyably unique way.

When recovered Derek states “He’s a bad one, he’s a bad one, he’s evil, he’s evil.” Indeed. Kreed KaferIn a 2015 episode the team captured some compelling evidence. Although the evidence is much less dramatic than other examples on this list, it was captured in a more scientific manner by the show's resident skeptic, Glen Hunt. The documents are missing, but Bishop Rudd is generally thought to have acquired the Aberglasney estate sometime around 1600. The house stayed in the family until 1710 when accumulated debts forced Sir Rice, the Bishop's grandson, to sell the estate to Robert Dyer. His grandson Robert Archer Dyer inherited in 1752 but already Aberglasney was once again draining the family coffers and finally Aberglasney was put up for sale in 1798. After it was broadcast this episode became controversial. Ciarán O'Keeffe later gave an interview to the press that Derek mentioning or being possessed by spirits Kreed Kafer and Rik Eedles was proof of his suspicions that he was faking the investigations. O'Keefe alleged he'd fabricated the names (from anagrams of 'Derek Faker' and 'Derek Lies') and asked crew members to intentionally mention them to Derek during the investigation. [3] During the episode O'Keeffe simply reports that there was no record of anyone with the name Kreed Kafer connected with the gaol.

Glen watched in amazement as the temperature of the window dropped in a fairly short space of time from 8°C to just 0°C. At one point it dropped one whole degree in just 30 seconds, something the team considered to be a significant change. Most Haunted Shorts is a series that includes episodes that never shown on television. The series has been airs on the Official YouTube channel. In November 2019, Karl Beattie stated "As the Most Haunted Shorts are getting longer, we are now calling them 'Extras'" announcing a brand new Most Haunted Extra to be released the following week. [6] # Aside from Acorah’s Most Haunted escapades, throughout his career he was also kept busy by various dead celebrities wishing to connect with him. As soon as you walked in you could hear the furniture being dragged upstairs, but no one was there. Then knives were thrown at us. Two members of the crew got burns on their arms.

Season 1

Parapsychologist Dr Ciarán O’Keefe concocted the character and passed the name to a crew member who would then walk Derek around the Gaol and drop the name into passing (The name being an anagram of Derek Faker). Towards the end of the episode, which aired in 2004, Stuart fell to the floor and screamed for help saying "I can't move." The team around him Karl, Jon Dibley, and Derek Acorah, tried to comfort him, but Stuart cried "don't rub my chest." Derek said "I felt him being walloped the second time, he was hit fully in the chest and ribs." The grounds include a large wooded area with ruins that play host to ghost sightings of sailors and monks.

The teams three-part investigation of a huge grade II listed building in Staffordshire proved to be one of their most active yet. All three parts are worth a watch, but it was in the second episode that viewers were wowed by the building. Little more happens throughout the two-hour séance, but it has gone down in British TV history as one of the crasser attempts at entertainment. The map includes the 243 locations in all the regular Most Haunted episodes and the 35 locations that feature in ' Midsummer Murders' episodes. It also shows the 144 locations where the team have broadcasted from as part of their Most Haunted Live! events. Taking into account investigations spread across more than one episode, episodes featuring multiple locations, and repeat visits across the regular series, live shows and spin-off series that's a total of 400 locations. Few amongst the dedicated army of Most Haunted fans will ever forget the Edinburgh Vaults special, broadcast live from the eerie location. The Edinburgh Vaults, which were constructed in the late 1700s, has a rich and morbid history. Originally built to be used for storage space for local South Bridge businesses, the Vaults were eventually taken over by city slum dwellers and the poor, as well as prostitutes. The Vaults were small, dark, dirty and cramped. Many were ill and unhappy there. Most Haunted undertook a Live special from the Vaults in 2006, and the results were frightening and unnerving. During the Middle Ages, the area around Aberglasney was the centre for bloody battles, including a particularly violent offensive in 1257. Nearby fields still carry the memories with names such as Cae Tranc (field of vengeance) and Cae'r Ochain (groaning field).

Many women who work at what is now a museum complain of being followed around the building by someone who isn't there. One in particular believes this feeling has increased 100% since they received an altar from another century-old church. Most Haunted USA was an eight-part mini-series that aired on the American Travel Channel from 12 December 2008 to 30 January 2009. The series has also aired in the UK on alternate weeks to Series 12. Featuring a celebrity guest team of Scott Mills, Mark Chapman, Laura Sayers and Neil Sloan from BBC Radio 1's afternoon show.
