So, I told myself to read this book because I had not read any sexual scene yet. But I should have stopped because this book's very first sexual scene is a big fat, NO. I don't even know what else to say other than it took me a lot of head shaking to get to the end of the scene. So did I actually read so many chapters of this book to get this horrible scene? Yes. Am I stupid? YES. I like the idea behind the story. I love the childhood crush to Lovers idea, but it was very well planned and the dialogues are engaging. Maybe you’re thinking yet again that this is all so dreamy? Nope, nothing dreamy going on here. Not even close. Oh, how stupidly in love with that boy I was. He was the first boy that made me blush, my first official crush. Sounds beautiful so far, right? That excitement that bubbles up inside you, those famous butterflies you feel for the very first time—he was the reason for them all. But, you only get to live in that fairytale world until they crush your hopes and dreams and then stomp on your heart for good measure. And boy did he crush my little heart into pieces.

he was also implying that she should and shouldnt wear certain things?? and the possessiveness really is not it. i can stand possessiveness to an extent but like they werent even official and this man was saying how she was ”his” the conflict at the end which was completely unnecessary since they had been in love with each other since like 40% into the book, why was it so long?

Perhaps the only negative thing I have to say about the book is the over-use of the endearment "little one". It got very repetitive after a while and became more of a turn-off than the other way around. It made me want to slap Jason repeatedly with a rotten fish and yell at him things like "Can't you see how hot she is? Jump her, NOW! Jason has always seen himself as Olive's big brother and called her his "little one". He also repeatedly planted kisses on her forehead. It was interesting to see his perception of her change. Oh how hard he was trying to keep his paws off her. It was hot and delicious.

Firstly, I think I was annoyed with the hero, Jason, for losing touch with his best friend and the family who loved him dearly and I was never able to forgive him. I hated hate hated the end so so much. I had a bad feeling about that bitch and i was right. Ugh why cant people just let celebrities live their lives? they are humans just like us! Olive escribió un libro basado en ellos dos con escenas +18 y fue un éxito, tanto que lo van a adaptar en este mundo literario y Jason va a ser el actor que lo interprete. Like, okay, we get it your books are big!! stop freaking mentioning them! the way that's all Jason would think about when he saw her should already tell you how incredible their chemistry was omg. how long this book was. they were in love with each other since like the 30% mark why was this dragged out? I love the idea of this book, I feel like it's the dream of some of us readers and a lot of writers. Imagine your childhood crush, who you wrote a book about, getting cast in the movie adaptation and falling in love with you? That's literally such a perfect concept, I just wish the execution was as good.

This was a first for me by this author and it won’t be the last. And can we talk about these narrators! I mean all I have to do is say his name and everyone sighs.. The author way of developing the characters is very impressive and her characters are well drawn and compelling. It is a unique novel in many ways, and yet, of course, its themes are universal.
