I've heard from one reviewer that it can also handle the road, but sounds like a good, affordable trail trainer - I agree that "trainers" need more attention for trail, for those of us who do the majority of our runs off-road it is still important to do tons of easy miles - if with less traction.

The new Caldera 6 is very close, but it has just a slight taper up front (plus the rocker), where the Divide stays a touch wider towards the toes and is more rounded at the very front.
