About this deal

This shoe is very comfortable out of the box, but sacrifices nothing when it comes to traction and creating power from the ground up.

Lacing spacing is not a thing with the FootJoy HyperFlex Carbon wide golf shoes since the eyelets need not overlap the nonexistent tongue. Company head office address: GOLFONLINE, WOODFIELD HOUSE, 506-508 HONEYPOT LANE, STANMORE, MIDDLESEX, HA7 1JS, U.

Overall the HyperFlex Carbon is as well-rounded a spiked golf shoe as I have had the pleasure of testing. It has a memory foam feel to it and, over a number of rounds, it will mold to the shape of your foot giving you a feeling akin to putting on an old pair of slippers.

So, yes, dirt filled all the cool design elements on the shoe but that dirt came off easily with a sponge and water. Ortholite® Impressions FitBed® provides immediate step-in comfort and molds over time for a truly custom fit. Now available in two new colours, providing the perfect balance of control and stability through your swing while delivering all-day comfort.

The HyperFlex Carbon still feels a like a larger shoe than the likes of the adidas ZG23 and Puma Ignite Articulate and it's also on the heavier side when compared to the other best spiked shoes of the year, so bear that in mind if you want a more lightweight spiked golf shoe in your rotation. I noticed in some Spiked shoes that they are very rubbery, hence do they actually ‘Track’ onto the Turf? By wrapping the carbon plate around the FTF+ midsole, it adds targeted stiffness realised through your swing without sacrificing comfort for the walk between shots. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that the spectacular white/purple women’s color scheme should also be available in men’s models. The aptly named Carbon variant of the HyperFlex includes a carbon-wrapped plate on the sole for tour-proven stability.

This plate is wrapped around the midsole to ensure the added stability is delivered throughout the swing, while comfort is prioritised for the walk between shots. The FootJoy Hyperflex Carbon shoes look great - they share the same overall design as the regular HyperFlex, with the help of some flashes of bright colours (blue, pink and lime green) on the outsole and heel areas. As much as I really enjoyed wearing the FootJoy Tour Alpha from last year, I found it a little bit too clunky compared to some of the lower-profile, athletic golf shoes I normally wear. StratoFoam and FTF+ then combine to deliver comfort and support alongside a 100% waterproof mesh upper.

I really love this feature as it makes it impossible for the top part of the shoe to become misaligned during play. Ultimate Comfort - The combination of StratoFoam and FTF+ delivers unmatched support and all-day comfort. We first saw this used in the original Pro|SL Carbon a few years back, but this seems to be a little more thought out three years on.
