About this deal

In this game, the playing pieces are different spaceships from around the galaxy. The gameboard features famous places from the Star Wars universe including Hoth, Tatooine, and Kashyyyk. Embrace the dark side of the force with this recent Monopoly game that is all about the bad guys. Pewter tokens include Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, Palpatine, Asaj Ventress and the Grand Inquisitor, and the properties are all replaced by evil allies. Star Wars Monopoly takes the much-loved gameplay of the classic game and adds all your favorite characters, spaceships, and locations from a galaxy far far away.

I really like the design of the game board for Monopoly Clone Wars, it features loads of different characters beautifully drawn in the center of the board, whilst the spaces around the edge look a lot like classic Monopoly. The gameplay is also very true to the original and will be instantly familiar to many. This version of the game focuses on Han Solo’s adventures throughout the galaxy and was brought out to tie in with the movie ‘Solo’ starring Alden Ehrenreich in the role made famous by Harrison Ford. Of course, there are tons of different Star Wars movies and TV series so there are also loads of different versions of the game – some of them even take the rules of Monopoly in a whole new direction. The game is beautifully designed and the board is very solid and durable. I like the way the deeds fit around the edge of the board. The tokens have a wide base so they don't fall over. This version of Monopoly is a pleasure to play.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have spotted that this is the second Monopoly game released in 2015. But, they are very different games and I think this version looks great. In a break with tradition, the board is circular with nice pictures of various planets in the center and big illustrations of a Star Destroyer and Millenium Falcon around the edge. Hasbro released this version of the game to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Star Wars movie. As you would expect there are a whole host of characters and places from the classic space saga. Another version of Monopoly based (as you might have guessed) on The Mandalorian TV series. This edition adds to the classic Monopoly rules to create a whole new board game experience where you have to protect ‘The Child’ from enemies.

It’s interesting that the first-ever Star Wars Monopoly game was titled as the ‘Limited Collector’s Edition’. It seems that nobody knew just how many different Star Wars Monopoly versions would follow! First things first, the name of this game refers to the character of ‘The Child’ (who you may well know as ‘Baby Yoda’), rather than it being a kids’ or junior edition of the game. That being said the design is likely to appeal to children with a large illustration of The Child taking up much of the board. If you’re looking for the best Star Wars board games then I’d obviously recommend a Monopoly version. And if you can get your hands on a rare Star Wars Monopoly for sale then you’ve really got a treasure to keep hold of.The unique thing about this Star Wars Monopoly game is the design of the clamshell box which allows you to simply open up the box and play straight away. It is a great feature that has slots for the dice, playing pieces, and money and makes it particularly suited to anyone that likes to play Monopoly on the go.It’s a fantastic travel Monopoly game. Item was better than first thought! Detailed figures of main characters, slightly different gameplay to standard monopoly but great fun for all the family. Would recommend to anyone... One interesting thing to note about this game – there are no hotels. Instead, houses are replaced by Tie Fighters, and the limit is 5 per property space instead of 4. Usually, the Star Wars Monopoly rules are no different to standard Monopoly games, but there are some with a unique spin to make things even more interesting. Released when the Saga consisted of just six movies, this set is made to a really high standard and features some of my favorite game pieces from any of the games. They are beautifully cast in metal with some great poses and there are eight characters from across the first two movie trilogies. My favorite is a lovely Yoda piece.
