When I came here and saw that people compare it to the Tesori D’oriente one, I immediately realised. Like a lot of previous reviewers, I too drank the Youtube kool-aid and bought this thinking I would get a pina colada-ish fragrance for the summer. It balances the line between sweet and fresh, bringing to mind a summer cocktail, sipped on a beach.
Lopez, known affectionately to fans as JLo, got her start as a dancer on television and in music videos in the early 1990s. Beachy, summery, sorta sexy - everything I love but I was so incredibly disappointed and confused upon first sniff. This one has a similar clean musky soap vibe but with a slightly sweetened, grapefruit and coconut water undertone.I don't sense any vanilla or coconut, many praise this as the perfect tropical/beachy perfume but all I get is fresh fruits, which is ok, it's my gym scent, but I was expecting more. A sexy blend of tropical fruits, shimmering floral notes, and sultry amber and musk, this sensual scent is as hot as its namesake, and comes adorned with a colourful beach bracelet finished with a bronzed flip-flop charm.

I just want to smell the way nice coconut sunscreen used to smell 20 years ago, and I want to be able to spray a few times and smell it all day. I can't stand the original Glow but I saw such good reviews about this one that I finally got it and omg this is wonderful! Glow is a cheap smelling powdery, soapy warm floral that I associate with poor taste and the early 2000's.I have heard Kathleen lights rave about Miami glow many times and for the notes it sound awsome to me!
If it makes sense, It is a "girl in a O'Neil hibiscus print tee chilling, having a cocktail at the beach bar" type of scent. I tried wearing MG during colder months as well but got the same outcome so by itself, MG is a fail for me.Whilst sharp and tangy on first spritz, it quickly settles into a soapy clean fresh skin scent and it's a perfect workout scent as is it not overpowering, in your face and offensive. I saw so many reviews saying its one of the best perfumes, miami, holiday,summer,beach, fancy and blah blah. It’s like sitting outside on a hot day with your sunglasses on sipping from a Glass of tropical juice with loads of ice. Also, I would bet that my husband, who can't stand perfume at all, actually likes this fragrance, though he wouldn't admit it.
