The little twist in the storyline was interesting and brought a bit of drama to the storyline. I hated the relationship Summer had with her stepmom and sister, and how badly she was treated by them. I really loved Rhett’s family and the way they welcomed her into their fold and made her feel part of the family.

The chemistry between these two is so delightful and I loved watching their souls connect, trust blossom and banter with each other. The sexual tension was so intoxicating and consuming that I felt the full attraction between them. Rhett is one of my favorite Elsie Silver heroes, such a brooding, blinding delight. He’s got a lot of luggage and he’s lost and a little bitter. But he’s also very protective and also caring, and Summer inspires a new openness in him. The only scenes that got me through this book were the Willa x Cade scenes and Winter x Theo first meeting.Because summer is not just another conquest.
