Edinburgh Storynight - An open mic night for your life stories! We believe that life sometimes writes the better story. That there is something magical in telling stories. It’s how we are wired. What we tell ourselves: the what, the how, the when. This is the night to open up and share one. Anyone is welcome, as long as it’s genuinely your true story to tell. No fiction, no poetry: Just true stories, memories, anecdotes. The theme for March will be: LESSONSLessons learned. Lessons yet still to master. The things you’ll never learn. The things you kind of learned but had to manage all over again. Things you had to unlearn. That moment when you got IT and everything started making sense. Hard lessons. Hard pills to swallow. Things you taught other people. We guess there’s a lesson in everything! We want to hear all about it. Anything vaguely resembling that theme is welcome! If you have something you want to share you can either E-mail us here: firstname.lastname@example.org, with a 2-3 sentence what your story is about. Or just come to the Storynight and sign up at the event. There’s always place for spontaneity. The Edinburgh Storynight is hosted by Sabrina Nordlund and Sophia Hembeck.
