About this deal

Awesome, I think 'Said the King to the River' was my favourite, as much as I liked the other 2. Had a hard hitting chorus and such speedy rhymes and vocal rhythms

I also really like the chords they use as they give them that kind of unique style they have, they're very creative. I can't lie if you're not into synths and metalcore elements you probably won't like my music but I don't rely on the same repetition of low notes that a lot of metalcore and post 2010 djent and is famous for. I'll link you if you want, though! Can't lie, though I haven't really listened to Mars Volta that much, I remember liking some of it a lot when friends of friends played them but not remembering what the songs were called. I only heard the live thing due to my friend really liking Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

The very first Wonder Woman outfit looks downright quaint by today’s standards. She debuted wearing a knee length skirt that would be extremely impractical for fighting in, but was mainly about letting readers know right off the bat that this was a woman who represented America and its values. One other contrast in this outfit compared to later years is that her top had a golden eagle on it rather than the double “W,” which she would adopt later on to represent her name. Was supposed to be recording a couple weeks ago but my friend who mostly produces pop and electronic tunes really wanted to give some heavier stuff a go but made me buy an input! Haha Also usually use a combo amp so had to buy a distortion pedal.

I know Silent Planet has a lot of references to religious scripture but that's not the same thing ahaha The '90s were an interesting time in comics, with the stories trying to reflect the discontent that the decade as a whole was known for. So, someone like Wonder Woman as we knew her, clothed in the colors of the American flag and standing up for all that was good, wasn't considered cool. That's why, like Batman and Superman, Wonder Woman got a questionable makeover during this period that has certainly been remembered, albeit not fondly. Great! I'll always keep writing and experimenting and so I will show you some stuff and see how we do if you feel you're ready in the future. We go from three entries ago, where we had a Wonder Woman outfit that seemed to be missing a few articles, to this costume from the ‘60s, which is so plain and covered up that it makes Diana almost indistinguishable from a civilian. Diana wore a lot of different casual outfits during this time, but the thing they all had in common was downplaying her former "All-American" side and making her blend in more. It was a smart strategy in the context of the storyline since Diana was trying to spy around to figure out who was framing Steve Trevor for murder. So she gave up her powers and her signature outfit for fashionable ‘60s duds.

Bu the way, the same goes for me, I don't know people who'd like to play post-hardcore so I'd be totally down! Elephant in the Room was crazy haha Good stuff! Reminded me of some parts of Plini and Sithu Aye as well. Saved it on my Youtube playlist. I haven't heard much Dream Theatre, but Jon Petrucci did something called Guitar Universe 2.0 which basically has him, Rusty Cooley, Tony MacAlpine, Tosin Abasi, Jason Richardson and a host of other good guitarists just jamming together on stage and I've given it a good amount of listens.

Mike Deodato's Wonder Woman: long legs, tiny waist, gravity-defying breasts, and of course a thong. Must be the '90s. There's even a dude on te internet who paraphrases their albums and breaks down all the endless literary references, really deep stuff. Everything you've ever heard about '90s comics is true. The obscenely large muscles, the balloon breasts, and the massive guns. The excessive amount of pouches on everybody's clothing. The gratuitous, leering obsession with the female form. Everything, and I mean everything, was Extreme!!!! It's all true, which is partly why I drifted from comics for a while during the decade. While William Messner-Loebs story arcs are engaging and often well written -- although a Boston mafia war plot is a bizarre fit for Wonder Woman -- it's the Deodato art that sells the book and is ultimately what led me to try it out. I've heard so much about this era over the years -- some of it positive, much of it negative -- that I finally had to judge it for myself. How do I rate it? Certainly not in the upper echelon of Wonder Woman stories, but it's still a jaunty and exciting yarn. It's solid '90s comics, and overall quite fun. My opinions on the art are more complicated. The adolescent comic book fanboy that still resides somewhere in the darkest nether-regions of my soul would blush at Deodato's art, but still enjoy it. The adult comic book reader I've become finds the overly sexualized style both problematic and tiresome, but also still appreciates Deodato's talent for drawing exciting superhero action adventure. Besides the elements of '90s excess, the art is compelling and energetic. I actually was gonna mention about Craig's vocals haha Yeah, they're off at times and a bit whiny but if you ever heard anything off "Illuminaudio" when they changed vocalists, it didn't really have the same feel for me, so I just got used to the less good parts of his vocals. I usually sing over him anyway haha If you have 32 minutes to spare, though, by all means listen to "Cassandra Gemini", which has to be one of my favorite songs of all time. It's just crazy.

I've heard of Chiodos but I never liked them nor their singer to be honest 😅 it's a shame too cause he's also collaborated with The Sounds Of Animals Fighting, one of the craziest act I've ever listened to, but I just can't seem to enjoy his voice. Weird cause I like a lot of high-pitched singers, but usually I either like them a lot or they annoy me 😅 With the Wonder Woman film now breaking box offices records and her popularity at an all-time high, Michael Campochiaroexplores a time when she wasn't handled nearly as progressively or sensitively as she is today. Haha I was actually gonna mention Hands Like Houses for the newer sound in my last comment. Also I listen to "Anchor" and "Warrior" by Secret and Whisper quite a lot!PSD knows that underwear is the foundation of every outfit a woman wears.
