OMG. I swear this duet is one of the best duets by this author. I have been going crazy for these triplets ever since I read them in the Cinderella trilogy but nothing could have prepared me for the marvelous way K. Webster has written them in their books. Laundry knows that Ford does not exist, and is in fact three brothers with the same face, but completely different in other capacities. Now they have her and Della, and it's a confliction for her to say they are protecting her rather than holding her captive. Landry's father is hunting her down, and it is terrifying for all to what the consequences are to be when he has her.

The intense conclusion in this duet that has your stomach turning, heart thundering and emotions raging in a high from the severe drama and wild plot twists. The Story: After ending up at the apartment of the Mannford brothers. Landry finds out that the guy she thought she knew is in fact three identical twins. She realizes Scout is crazy, she doesn’t trust Sparrow at all, but she knows Sully will help with her sister. They each bring something different after every encounter and while she may be naive, she knows darkness, and she trusts her suspicions. Landry also has some steel cojones that makes her the perfect match for them. They are the ones with an even bigger surprise.

Death Wish

is a collection of two full length novels by the bestselling author K Webster. 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 includes the previously published 𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘋𝘶𝘦𝘵 books: 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 and 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙒𝙞𝙨𝙝. This book was a FANTASTIC display of how one person's villain is another person's Hero! It also was a great showing of how talented K Webster is since she was able to take these evil guys from another story of hers (guys I wanted to cause serious harm to) and made me fall in love with them!!! That is HUGE!

As brothers there was a level of incestuous behaviour that was a bit 🤧, which is why I was ultimately pulling for her to end up with one. Why are you happy to share her… all of their bodies touching whilst making love to her… sorry but it’s really not hot when you deep it 😭 They've reigned as the Terror Triplets, using cruelty and intimidation to rule New York City society. Now they face a bigger challenge: the reclusive heiress Laundry Croft. It is their job to work their way into her life. They need to make her trust them. Even while they keep their own secrets. Each man uses her in his own way. They seduce her and manipulate her....but will they fall in love?It also kinda bothered me that they just let the kid terrorize the cat. I loved the cat but just because the cat was mean didn’t make it ok.

Landry will do whatever she can to protect her deaf sister from their father. So when she shows up at Ford's house asking for help, she realizes there is more to Ford than she realized. She becomes trapped in Sully, Sparrow, and Scout's surroundings, but doesn't mind because she and her sister are away from their father. I absolutely loved this incredibly unique storyline and all the characters, including Heathen (save Alex Croft)! Scout, Sully, and Sparrow are deliciously depraved and sadistically sweet.

This sequel has a much darker feel than book 1, mainly because we learn more about the abuse and trauma Landry went through to protect her sister. I felt for her and her pain. Content warnings for anyone who needs it: rape, pedophilia, pregnancy, miscarriage, abuse All I wanted is for my little sister Della to be safe and happy. And maybe, in brief stolen moments, I dreamed of a happy ending for myself with a brown-eyed man. That hope has turned into sharp, bright fear. There's only survival now. Safety: well it’s a ménage so… but yes within the confines of their relationship, it’s her and them.

Sully was possessive so did have an issue sharing but easily acquiesced, and was a bit of a follower though the more ‘gentle’ brother. Now that the secret about their identity is out, the romance felt more genuine. I wasn't sold on Scout in book 1, but he really does a 180 in this sequel and proves how much he loves Landry. All the boys do a fantastic job at redeeming themselves in Landry's eyes after their deception. The steam is FIRE in Death Wish too. K. Webster knows how to write steamy reads and she didn't disappoint here! The growth of the triplets was really exciting to watch, especially with Della, Ty and Bryant. I expected what we got for Landry and even Della, but the friendship they all (L+D as well) had with Ty was so surprising and I loved it. I think I forgot how cruel Bryant really is, but he reminded me and the triplets in this one... The heroine(s): Landry Croft - she was being abused by her father and wanted to protect her deaf little sister so she and her sister ran away. She thought she was running to a friend, but instead ran straight into the hands of the Mannford brothers.

I allow myself to fantasize about a life where there isn’t a villainous father I’m hiding from. Just me, my three assholes, and my little sister. It feels a lot like happiness. A lot like home.” But Landry's ruthless billionaire father isn't accustomed to being slighted and the triplets and Landry will have to play the game better and more ruthless to win. Who will come out unscathed? I think this book wanted to be dramatic and emotional but also wanted to be erotic and the two didn't mesh so great. That aside, I did really like Landry and her triplets. I wish there had been more to their story or an extended epilogue. What we’re doing is far beyond dating. We’re consuming her, owning her, making her ours. We’re a drug that’s entered her bloodstream and she’s too high from the way we feel to ever want to willingly withdraw from us. Landry isn’t going anywhere. Not now. Not ever.”
