As you know kids are really bad for careers but somehow our kids make it fun to have a career and the three of them. I would try to establish some boundries and let your DW know where YOUR lines in the sand are, she should be responsible to relay that information onto him and he should respect those boundries, especially in your home. I didn’t share in your birth, and I missed those first six years… but I promise to love you everyday in the hope to make up for it. It’s actually quite common, and reading many stories and blogs about other stepparents in the world have made me feel that what I’m feeling is normal.
