It was a fun read that gave me multiple thrills and freaked me out way too many times, and I loved it! six “friends” stuck in an RV in a race against time to uncover the secret that will grant five of them their freedom?

note: if you need a book with loveable characters you can get invested in (like in holly jackson's previous books), you will probably not like five survive. I went into this with high expectations bc I LOVED the agggtm series by Holly Jackson and I'd seen great things about this- and it didn't disappoint! Sometimes things get a little complicated and shook up when a crime is committed, and everyone in the community starts to feel unsafe for what seems like the first time in years. I could not picture a more perfect ending for this book that the one that we were given and the POSSIBILITIES of what could happen in the future are endless. I just seriously want to rant for hours here about how much I was hoping the sniper would just shoot Oliver so he’d just shut up. red - she annoyed me but i also felt so bad for her can my emotions not be a mess for once 😭 i just want to hug her. Five Survive is a stand out amongst YA thrillers, coming at you full force with the grit and stakes of an adult thriller whilst simultaneously catering to its teen audience with scary realism.As I said above, I have extremely irrational fears, so I was freaking out throughout the entire book, because I was so paranoid both for myself and the characters. I'm an extreme scaredy-cat when it comes to anything crime or anything that could possibly happen in real life, but I ended up reading this late into the night and I was honestly scared to go to sleep because I have extremely irrational fears. They have been trapped by someone out there in the dark, someone who clearly wants one of them dead. My hope is that through this blog, I can share with you my words, my novels, and my passion for stories.
