About this deal

On the surface, she is an Arendellian village girl, an aspiring inventor, and the best friend of Prince Agnarr, but she is also secretly Northuldra. Here is one version of the story that has remained untold for centuries--a tale of mothers and daughters, youth and dark magic. Anna, Queen of Arendelle, has been tirelessly preparing for the Polar Night's Celebration that is held every year to welcome the time when the sun doesn't rise in the Polar Circle. Now the head of a small family farm in North Carolina, he spontaneously takes a gig playing at a bar in St. Married to her college sweetheart, she owns a chain of upscale hair salons, and Derek runs his own company.

The Keepers must solve a puzzle of the past, or be crushed under an evil that makes the Overtakers seem like gentle souls. Overall, this was a Hook backstory that had potential to be interesting but lacked the depth that would’ve made it so for me.

Definitely not my favourite story in the series, but it ended up being a worthwhile inclusion in the overall story of the sisters. Never Never explores the pertinent parts of Captain Hook’s past before picking up where Disney’s Peter Pan begins – Captain Hook’s role as the infamous Neverland villain hellbent on killing Peter Pan. Ici, on retrouve un James qui a vécu quelques jours au Pays Imaginaire étant enfant et qui n’a qu’un désire en tête : y retourner. You either hate or love them, but I'm quite impressed with the big scheme and plot they're working on, especially when you keep in mind that time in this universe is a strange and not so lineair thing. For more than two centuries, the land of Albion has been ruled by the supposedly benevolent Watchmaker, who imposes precision on every aspect of life.

For Althea Vestrit, the ship is her rightful legacy unjustly denied her---a legacy she will risk anything to reclaim. The myth has been told for centuries: Brothers Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades waged a years-long war against their father Cronus and his tyrannical Titans. What I loved most is that this book uses a lot of very popular theories surrounding Peter Pan and Neverland and manages to connect them with the Disney tale everyone knows.T. Barnum, a man who longed to make his fortune by selling the wondrous and miraculous, and there is nothing more miraculous than a real mermaid. The tale shapes Captain Hook’s – or rather a young James Bartholomew’s – early experiences while also giving us his perspective on meeting Peter Pan and his foreshadowed destiny. It really displayed his loyalty and helps you understand why he would remain by Captain Hook’s side considering the treatment he can received. Not only do Valentino’s stories give readers the opportunity to explore villains they know and love, readers are also introduced to new characters that operate behind the scenes of classic Disney plots, giving tales-as-old-as-time a bewitching new twist.

Depending on the age it’s meant for, I obviously understand the story isn’t going to delve into certain things. His obsession with getting back to Neverland, with *SPOILER* wanting to be a kid again, *END SPOILER* could've been interesting, but it wasn't really explored, just something I was repeatedly told. He journeys to the Many Kingdoms, meets Circe, Hazel, and Primrose (all original characters introduced in previous books in the series).Remember there are always two sides to every story and that person you think is evil may be who you least expect it. This collection includes all three books in Serena Valentino's Villains trilogy: Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen, The Beast Within: A Tale of Beauty's Prince, and Poor Unfortunate Soul: A Tale of the Sea Witch.
