About this deal

The alarm’s high sensitivity mode will be enabled if the alarm predicts CO levels will increase to or above 180ppm for fast reaction to rising CO levels. Once your CO alarm is activated and tested, choose to install the alarm by mounting on a wall or free standing on a shelf. Your alarm should be placed 1-3 metres away from any fuel burning appliance in your home, in living rooms or bedrooms.

Known as the ‘ Silent Killer’, CO occurs when fuels burn incompletely, with common sources being boilers, gas fires and hobs and solid fuel burners. However, carbon monoxide can also pass through walls, so you would also be at risk if a neighbouring property had a leak.

With our sleep easy function, you can silence low battery chirps for 8 hours, up to 10 times. This feature not only allows you to enjoy a silent night’s sleep, but gives you vital time to take action and replace your batteries. These alarms fall under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment regulations (WEEE). The directive requires producers of Electronic Equipment to join a WEEE compliance scheme and contribute to the cost of recycling Waste Electronic Equipment that is collected at local recycling centres and other routes. FireAngel’s FA3322 digital carbon monoxide alarm features many icons on the LCD screen. View our guide below to help you understand what each represents. We have been monitoring it since and I’m pleased to say that the issue appears to have been resolved so no requirement to issue a replacement. FireAngel’s new range of carbon monoxide alarms use intelligent sensing technology for a rapid reaction to rising levels of CO.

The below provides an overview of installing your carbon monoxide alarm, but please refer to each alarm’s manual for tailored guidance. Which room can I install this carbon monoxide alarm? The alarm comes with 2 X AA batteries that can be replaced once the low battery chirp can be heard. Alarms located in sleeping rooms and in rooms without a fuel-burning appliance should be located relatively close to the breathing zone of the occupants. However, if you notice any visible damage to the alarm during cleaning, including any severe staining or dust, we recommend you replace the alarm as the sensor within could be damaged. Does cleaning my alarm really help stop the beeping? Ideally, an alarm should be installed in every room containing a fuel-burning appliance and every sleeping room. Additional alarms may be installed to ensure that adequate warning is given for occupants in other rooms, in which they spend considerable time whilst awake and from which they may not be able to hear an alarm in another part of the property.Read our handy guide for more information on correctly installing your alarms or discover why your Pro Connected alarms may be beeping in our guide. Dust contamination: How do I clean my alarm? We recommend you clean your smoke and heat alarms every 3 months to stop a build-up of dust or insect webs from preventing the sensor to work correctly.
