About this deal

Oh, what a fantastic read! A sexy, emotional, and gorgeously romantic story with an accidental marriage, a fake relationship, a strong heroine, an irresistibly grumpy hero, all the heat and all the feels. I loved this one! like are you actually kidding with this 🤢 he’s trying to hurt his ex by bragging about his sex-life with eloise?!

The story follows Eloise and Jasper, two near-strangers who drunkenly decide to get married while in Vegas. While the two are loosely connected by Eloise's family, they hadn't spent any time together before getting hitched. So it's no surprise that they both woke up with regrets, and an annulment seems to be in their future. Unfortunately, Eloise has been trying to show her parents that she's responsible enough to run the family hotel by herself, and getting drunkenly married in Vegas is probably not the way to do it. Jasper has his own reasons for wanting to put on a happy front, so the two agree to fake their relationship for the foreseeable future. But as these two newlyweds move in together and continue to heat up the sheets, they realize that there might be more to their relationship than either expected. Jasper must have put her under a spell with those soul-deep eyes because after a single night together, they woke up husband and wife. Her only hope is to keep this marriage a secret until it's annulled. Then she'll pretend it never happened. also, the plot twist at the end .. absolutely uncalled for??? it turned so dark and grim for No reason whatsoever. it really felt like the author knew the ex scene was boring so she had to throw something in. it felt copied from the first two books, and just deeply unsettled me. I just feel like Devney has set the bar so high with the Eden brothers that it's really difficult to not compare other MCs with them.so, the author positions this book like enemies to lovers and it’s not even nearly it. it’s just one-night stand to lover or something like that. but they had absolutely no banter or tension. winslow(h) and griffin(H) both are super boring people and i’m not interested in them or their lives at all. they literally have no personality atp and i won’t even remember their names a week later. there was even a line about their chemisty being “off the charts”.. they’re such clowns. the premise was so good. i love fake marriage/marriage of convenience but the execution was not there. i truly did not care about jaspers ex & the phone calls between them were So weird. it genuinely made me so uncomfortable. like we spend 50-60% hearing about this ex, and really the whole reason they stayed married was because of her, and it got handled in one tiny scene? like it made no sense. it felt like this huge build up with absolutely no pay off. Overall Pace of Story: Good until the very end. I never skimmed and I thought it flowed well otherwise. don’t even LET me forget about how jasper had been hiding that he’d been looking for jobs opportunities for after he and eloise’s deal was finally over and they got divorced…he didn’t even tell eloise about it, he just randomly goes one day, “oh btw im driving to vegas (from montana) for an interview”

There are many novels available for readers of all ages, from picture books for young children to middle-grade novels for older children and young adults to adult fiction for more mature readers. It is important to choose novels that are appropriate for your reading level and interests. The best time to read a book depends on your personal schedule and preferences. Here are some suggestions: Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Winslow and Griffin’s story. Winslow is the new police chief in town and doesn’t realize that her ONS the first night is connected to the most influential family and not the tourist she assumed he was. Griffin thought Winslow was just someone passing through and didn’t want to have the strings that come along with a local. Neither of them want a relationship, so they settle for a casual fling. Winslow has a gut feeling that the string of suicides in the town aren’t what everyone is telling her they are, and she starts digging despite being considered an outsider and meeting opposition. There are some suspenseful scenes, some sexy times, and some big secrets revealed…and they get a HEA ending. If you are a parent or caregiver, it is important to encourage children to read at a young age and provide them with age-appropriate books that they will enjoy. However, it is also important to avoid pressuring children to read before they are ready, as this can lead to frustration and resentment towards reading.

The murder mystery was definitely fun and I was invested but sadly it was clear to me from the beginning who the killer was because most of these murder mystery stories are built up with the exact same story line of having a really obvious person that "should be the killer".Loved the more angsty scenes between Eloise and Jasper, whenever Jasper would pull away/act colder towards her and we got to see her POV, I loved it because those are my favourite kinds of scenes. But I'm glad that she still knew her worth when they attended the wedding. Looking forward to Crimson River and seeing Lyla getting her own, well deserved HEA and seeing more of the Eden siblings. It shouldn’t be like this. Never in my life had I struggled so much to let go of a woman. Especially when there’d been no commitment involved. i really had the highest expectations for jasper’s book cause i thought he was so spicy in garnet flats but he fell well… flat Winslow Covington believes in life, liberty and the letter of the law. As Quincy, Montana’s new chief of police, she’s determined to prove herself to the community and show them she didn’t earn her position because her grandfather is the mayor.
