About this deal

I read Musnet with guided reading groups in my fourth grade class because graphic novels are so popular right now. Evanston Public Library aims to be the heart of our diverse community by promoting the development of independent, self-confident, and literate citizens, and providing equitable access to cultural, intellectual, technological, and information resources. I’ve found him sitting quietly by himself looking through it and our two year old has asked me to read it to him again and again and again. Finally, we add two structural embeddings which tell the model where a given musical sample is within the larger musical piece.

One embedding divides the larger piece into 128 parts, while the second encoding is a countdown from 127 to 0 as the model approaches the (end) token. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. ILLUSTORIA Magazine is proud to be the official publication of the International Alliance of Youth Writing Centers. Also on the property is a friendly mouse family who takes the main character in and a cantankerous, old artist squirrel name Remi (cough, Rembrandt) who the main character apprentices with.

After what felt like coming up for air when we finished, my eldest asked if he could look at it by himself. After reading the book we looked up information on both artists and looked at examples of their work. Perhaps after reading this fun first book in the Musnet series, your children will feel inspired to visit the Chicago Art Institute! Kickliy weaves lots of lessons into the narrative; Musnet presents a very natural combination of art and history with the sorts of motivational messages you expect to find in a children’s story. This new series revolves around a painting mouse found in Monet’s famous gardens in Giverny: the nameless, orphan mouse is befriended by Mya and her mouse family, who live inside the artist’s house.

Take a friendly and likable orphaned mouse, place him in a beautifully rendered watercolor and ink medium with miniature Monet masterpieces and you get a stunning and engaging story of a mouse learning to become an artist. On the other paw, Musnet can't help to be drawn to the fresh and new art of the human master, Monet.

This first volume of a projected four-volume series introduces us to Mus’s world in Giverny, France, his teacher, his new friend Mya, and the world of painting. This book will appeal especially to young readers (ages 8 and up) who show an interest not just in painting, but in any of the arts. Kickliy’s fluid ink and watercolors evoke the magic of the period and the country setting for the story. Mus continues working for and taking lessons from Rémi (though, it is questionable about how effective Rémi is). ClassicalArchives and BitMidi donated their large collections of MIDI files for this project, and we also found several collections online, including jazz, pop, African, Indian, and Arabic styles.
