About this deal

Sorry you didn’t like it Sal…if you had read my post you would have seen that the fabric I spray painted was not removable from the large cushions that I had that were stained. Be sure to lay down some sort of drop cloth to protect the surrounding area before you start painting. When it comes to any exterior surface, whether it be masonry, roof tiles, wood or fabric, water and moisture is its biggest enemy. No there are other priorities for my money right now like replacing the 20-year-old rotted deck to make it safe to walk on again. Nancy is correct, but as you know, sometimes it is not possible to have every thing you spray in a perfect position.

I recently gave these outdoor chairs a major makeover, and I am quite pleased with how they turned out.

If the water absorbs into the fabric and darkens the surface, this is an indicator that it is able to get wet if it was left in rainfall and therefore needs waterproofing if you want to keep them dry. There are pros and cons of both methods, but in the end, I think the Rustoleum outdoor fabric paint is the clear winner. If your fabric has a pile, such as velvet, faux-suede, chenille, draylon or microfibre you will need to use more product.

Maximum camouflage for future stains and it will look just dreamy next to that pool we’re putting in this month. I do think this paint could work for an indoor couch as long as you don’t mind it being a bit stiff. Keep reading to get all the details on the process, Do’s and Don’ts, plus my recommendation for the perfect project for this outdoor spray paint. If you have some fabric cushions, for example, that you need to dry out ready for treatment, the best thing to do is get them inside to avoid any further water absorption. This moisture can not only get into fabric cushions and other outdoor fabric from rainfall, but also through drink spillages, causing the fabric to absorb and ultimately hold moisture. I wanted to try something a little different with the other pillow and created an ombre effect with two colors Medium Gray and Khaki. FabriCoat Fabric Paint can be applied to all types of fabric by either brushing, sponging or spraying it onto the fabric.
