It left a really nice subtle glimmer on my cheek and didn’t leave a stripe like some highlighters do, it blended beautifully. For 99p, I was really impressed with the pigment of the product. This range has sparked success seemingly overnight and even makeup artists are using and raving about these products. Olivia Hale makeup range has everything! Aesthetically it looked really similar to Morphe in design and I really liked the warm shade range. My only criticism would be, prepare for fall out, as I applied it onto my eyelid a lot of it did fall onto my face. When it comes to applying products to my skin, especially my face I have to admit I can be a bit of a make-up snob. You all know by now that I love a bargain but when it comes to your face I just think you need to be careful about what you are actually applying to your skin as sometimes there can be a huge difference in quality between a high end make-up brand and a budget brand. But sometimes you discover wee budget gems that don’t cost you an arm and a leg and can really surprise you so as much as I can be a bit of a make-up snob I also love nothing more than finding affordable make-up that is also really good quality, especially when it comes to everyday products. I had high hopes for this BB cream but I was extremely disappointed. The shade was completely wrong for my face, and I ended up looking ridiculous. I am just going to put this out there…. I have fallen out of love with Real Techniques 😲 here’s why…But even myself, being a freelance makeup artist and beauty blogger and may I add I actually work in the premium beauty industry in PR, has affordable items in my kit. Sometimes, there are makeup items out there which you do not need to pay the Earth for – honestly.
