This thick number track made from reinforced card can be used as a number line or number square, in a wide range of activities and games to help children work with numbers 1 to 100. Numicon can teach a variety of foundational maths concepts through the CPA approach (concrete, pictorial, abstract). This product provides a box of Numicon Shapes designed for individual use for one student in a classroom setting.It can be adapted to play games eg matching Numicon with object such as apples, pebbles etc, domino dot cards and number cards (home-made). Our numicon resources are great for teaching about place value, and practising addition, subtraction and multiplication. The Numicon maths system is generally used for teaching children between the ages of 4 and 7, however, older children with SEN or older students struggling with grasping maths concepts can also use it.
