I did have Mesmerize and didn’t like much the dry down so I did sell it and kept Viagem Encantada wich is one of my favourites perfumes. I tried this based on the fact that I have found some amazing perfumes by Avon - which most have been compliment magnets. Yes, but as with most Avon offerings they are shrill and alcoholic to my nose, with little change in the dry down. of course the amber and spices are all but emanating from my skin right now, but with a very powdery base, again probably because of the amber. Well it looks like for whatever reason, this wasn't subject to the "Avon weirdness" that otherwise was rampant in that time.

The 1990's was a very, very strange place for Avon fragrances, particularly in the oft-neglected men's side.They rapidly transition into an apple note, which is very closely blended against aromatic lavender, and a fine array of precious woods, including sandalwood, rosewood, and cedar.

And of course, these suggestive forces are also reflected on a platform such as Parfumo, not least in the number of reviews and statements in addition to the number of ratings: the new releases of certain brands generate countless opinions in the short term, while other current perfumes receive much less or hardly any attention. The bergamot, orange, and lemon top notes sparkle with realism, and actually smell juicy (read: not alcoholic). I was so happy when I smelled this powdery, amber, incense sweetness, it was just like I remembered. However, I don't believe it ever had the popularity that would make it immediately recognizable as a throwback.Vanilla, Patchouli, Caramel/Praline, Incense, Sandalwood, Amber and Spices in a rather linear way except the initial mega gourmand opening lead by caramel and patchouli.
