About this deal

While your first thought may be that they’re perfect for beginners, they’re definitely not perfect for young people who can’t generate adequate swing speed to make them spin at all, or for those who show promise of getting better quickly, as it hides the effects of spin, makes holding greens difficult, and alters how your pitches and chips respond. We enjoyed the sensation it offered off the tee and also liked the higher flights it offered when we chose to play with our driver. As its name would suggest, the Maxfli SoftFli provides golfers with an incredibly soft feel on every shot they play. I could not stop the ball nearly as well as I can with a premium three or four-piece golf ball, but the higher ball flight from the Maxfli Straightfli did help the ball stop a little quicker. May include the odd ball with PRACTICE stamped on, these balls are great for social games/summer nights, save your best balls for competition golf.

It provides great distance off of the tee with the driver - testing proves Straightfli travels 20% straighter than previous generation Maxfli SpeedFli golf balls. It may not be suited to players with faster swing speeds but the flight was high and straight and we found it offered up a very responsive feel. Secondly, you are supporting an industry that clears lost or abandoned balls from the environment, thus protecting natural habitats.

The Soft Ionomer blend cover formulation enables excellent greenside spin for superb feel and control. My only complaint would be they didn’t have much short game spin, but you can’t really expect that from this ball. The Tour X does, however, utilize a urethane cover to provide ample control from 100 yards but it does feel firmer than the Tour.

I don’t normally play with a two piece distance golf ball, but I can tell you that this ball made me see why someone would. If you’re a player that struggles to create spin on your golf ball, the Straightfli is certainly not going to help make things easier for you.Through our rigorous testing procedures, our collective goal is to test every golf ball model on the market as soon as it becomes available to us, putting in the hours in all weathers out on the golf course, the practice ground, the short-game area, the practice bunker and the putting green. Are you looking for maximum distance or something that allows your short game to shine around the greens? Last year, Dicks had a sale of their Maxfli Softfli golf balls so I bought a few cases and I did like them quite a bit.

These golf balls can enter the ecosystem releasing microplastics and toxic chemicals into the food chain. Additionally, the StraightFli features an octahedron dimple pattern that consists of dimples that vary in size, a design that MaxFli believes optimizes launch and promotes increased accuracy on full shots. The Tour model features a three-piece construction and urethane cover, which combine to promote low spin and distance in the long game along with high spin and soft feel on and around the greens.

Maxfli manufacture the number 1 selling optic ball the Maxfli Noodle Ice golf ball, the Noodle Ice golf balls come in 6 colour choices. That said, its core has been redesigned to promote low spin off the tee, while Maxfli’s icosahedron dimple pattern promotes higher launch conditions, a combination that helps players maximize carry and total distance in the long game. Again we loved how soft this golf ball was, and the side stamp design on the ball that features two thick lines either side of the SoftFli logo was a very handy addition, that improved our accuracy off the tee and on the greens. Maxfli’s Straightfli features a two-piece construction for an optimal blend of accuracy and distance. But how many golfers break 100 – and why do you encounter vastly different answers to this question?
