About this deal

One maraca includes colourful shaker beads and the other features a light-up dome that changes colours and plays maraca sound effects. The angle of the legs means that it won’t tip over, which is good for toddlers and those beginning to walk or stand upright.

The activity station is for little ones who can hold their heads upright unassisted - so around four months old and until they can walk. Little ones can add rattling sounds to the songs that play, count from 1-10 with every shake and press the six light-up buttons to hear colour and instrument names. For this variant, the learning pages has shapes and crayons on one side, and "ABC 123" text on the other, and the music pages have Tad with a trombone and Lily with a drum respectively. I got it when my baby was five months old and could hold his head up confidently, and according to the packaging, it's supposed to be suitable until he can walk unaided. As children shake the maracas, they hear numbers counted verbally, helping make the connection between counting aloud with the actions that they take.Flip to music mode and learn popular songs, tunes and real instrument sounds of the piano, drum, xylophone, trombone and guitar. I am pleased with this activity table, It has all the usual 'baby' style toys, nothing out of the ordinary or marvellous but good all the same. Dinner time had become an extremely fraught time of day but this has taken away quite a chunk of the 'hassle' that was generated around that time. A flip of the jukebox page transforms the activities on the table from learning activities into musical discoveries! We’ve had the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Musical Table for quite a few months now as we bought it when Amelia turned 6 months; we wanted something more interactive than the toys she had at the time.

It has two different play modes which are chosen by your child by turning the pages on the jukebox activity centre, this will change learning activities to musical discoveries. Without the legs attached my six-month-old is able to play with it lying on his tummy, his side, or sitting up in front of it. The noises/tunes are quite pleasant, including what is described as a motown style alphabet song, and the voices are English rather than American. Features a comfy padded seat that can rotate through 360 degrees allowing your little one access to all the activities. It can be used with or without the legs, so can function either as a musical pad or a musical table. There are lots of buttons, switches, sliders, doors to open and close and pages to turn, which are easy for my baby to investigate. A lot of time has passed since we bought this table and Amelia still enjoys playing with it now; she has a much greater understanding of it and will deliberately press the buttons she wants. Electronic maraca has a light-up dome that flashes in a variety of colours and plays maraca sound effects. Press, slide, pull and spin colourful instruments and shapes to activate a variety of learning responses.
