It has been specially manufactured with seven types of unique, specialist adhesives that give it its strength, this ensures that it will stay in your joints for many years to come. Flamed, honed or Egyptian stone must be sealed both sides prior to applying Joint-It Simple or any other jointing material. First time using Joint-it simple, to say I was impressed with the product would be an understatement. If you have any overhanging flowers they should be tied back before you wet your paving ahead of applying Joint-It Simple. Three years later the joint grouting still looks great and I’m particularly impressed that there have been no plants growing through the joints, unlike my previous patio.If the water does not drain through and logs on the top of the patio, then it is likely the base is solid and therefore this product will not be suitable. Joint-It Simple's natural sands harden on contact with air, so simply wet the area, brush in the product, and leave it to do the rest. In cooler climates it should take longer for the product to harden while in warmer climates it should harden more quickly. Final Cleaning: Clean the surface carefully with a fine hair broom so that all JOINT-IT residue is removed.
