About this deal

Alles in allem lohnt sich die Investition, bevor man sich über verlaufene Farbnasen oder unsaubere Sprenkel aufregt. Will atomise at lower and higher pressures depending on your application, paint mix and compressor compatibility.

The unique multi-purpose, high flow Iwata Eclipse Series airbrushes are designed to easily atomize heavier sprayable mediums from a controlled fine line to controlled wide spray. While I want to use it mostly for camo and detailing, how is it when it's time to cover larger area ? The foam inlay houses the airbrush perfectly and nicely re-echoes the brand with the colour showing the ALL-STAR VERSATILITY airbrushes. The quality of the gun is exceptional and is worth every penny, even if you’re not that experienced it’ll grow with you as your skills progress and you’ll still be using it 20 years later! From extreme detail spraying to maximum coverage, we classify Iwata airbrushes into Five Categories so you can easily find the perfect airbrush to cover your specific needs for any project.

Okay, I'm one of those modellers who doesn't actually model nearly as much as he's like so this was a questionable outlay. In this case, I used Abaddon Black, a base paint which has a dense pigment for solid coverage by brush. I got an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS a couple of months ago, and I'm trying to work out the correct size of compressor to pair it with.Looking at the diagram Hotel Papa linked, it seems that the o-ring I am looking for is perhaps behind a screw in there.

Obviously thinning depends on several factors including the specific color you’re spraying, but it’s a good starting point. After reading some horror stories with cheap brushes, I’m thinking of spending a little extra to improve the experience. The Eclipse allows for simple maintenance ensuring you will always have something ready to use, time and time again. Ever since I got my Iwata Eclipse HP-CS, I has felt weird trying to push the needle into place after cleaning it.

The quick-flush cutaway cutaway handle allows easy access to the needle so that you can quickly empty the paint reservoir for cleaning. Now, I can feel the needle passing the o-ring while the needle is moving freely still, and I think I don't have to worry about paint leaking backwards through the o-ring. The spring and needle chuck have the same part number, but the other two part numbers are different. Ok, I took the airbrush apart, but couldn't see any o-ring, however looking into the cavity of my now dismantled airbrush, I seem to see this screw deep inside.

See how you get on with the paints, you might struggle with tip dry in your environment, ( IIRC I've seen people in such conditions not use acrylics at all.Not to mention that this rough texture absorbs some of the paint particles, so sometimes when I’m spraying a varnish, it gets the tint of the last paint I sprayed before. I have one of those cheap knock-offs already so I didn't know whether this would live up to the hype.
