I had a visit with the doctor, he said to switch my hand soap to a simple bar soap like Ivory soap (this is what inspired me to do this post today). You can rub this solution on clothing stains, let it sit for awhile then wash as you normally would. Since I prefer to face lather with a brush (synthetic) using Ivory or other bar soap alone provides too thin a lather, that dissipates too quickly, for my preferences. We will also share the fascinating history behind this soap which I think is what makes it so unique.
