About this deal

i've read a book where the girl is nineteen and the guy (dad) is thirty eight and i was eating that shit up! Since the blankets were at my waist, I imagined her little finger pointing at my chest, although they often made fun of my hairy legs and scruffy jaw.

So you can go right ahead and rip my clothes and pin me down and say all kinds of filthy things to me. I’d heard them talking through the thin wall separating my bedroom from the one they shared in my crappy apartment. Winnie’s (22) in love with love; in fact, she’s been in many relationships, was even engaged once, and she still believes in it.The sunshiney, goofy, light hearted young Winnie contrasts so beautifully with the grumpy, firefighter and single dad Dex.

And second - the co-parenting relationship he had with his ex and his attitude towards her and hers towards him, it had again, such a realistic vibe. I've moved on to the next generation and it just makes me every inch as warm and squishy as the first 5 books. Winnie easily gives her heart away but after a recent hurtful break up she is giving herself a break. Naomi is trying her absolute best, being a pretty wonderful parent, and she's shit on for no reason.Dex and I might be twelve years apart, but the fire between us is the kind that will never burn out. I love the overall writing style and the storyline has plenty of depth - there were just too many off-putting elements for me to say that I really enjoyed the romance. And the story unfolds with such ease- Dex melts my heart, and Winnie’s love and optimism is so endearing. he's a thirty four year old man with kids and he doesn't know how to cook even a simple dish like pasta? Anyway, my dearest little boy Dex, don't you get tired of shitting on your ex-wife for being a decent, responsible mother, or maybe do you get tired of comparing the woman you're fucking to your own daughters?

Dex is a broody ex Navy SEAL turned firefighter who moves in next door to Winnie, the last thing he wants is the girl next door getting under his skin. The best way to describe it is: I could totally see this couple, five years down the line, getting an amicable divorce. It’s weird cause it was obvious but at the same time insignificant because they just fit so well together. As simple as it is one of my favourite parts it Dex totally being bullied by his daughters, it’s 100% relatable. She continues to deliver books that hit me just right – they're not overly complicated, have all the emotions I’m looking for – give me just enough angst and allllll the sexy times I could want, fantastic characters that I fall head over heels for – what more could I want!
