About this deal

This is an excellent book for showing the impact of under-the-radar bullying and how it can escalate to include lots of class members, while making the target feel helpless, confused and vulnerable. James is in year six and loves all things Mariah and anything that is as fabulous she is, like dancing and singing.

Every day he plays and hangs out with his friends Harriet, Nathan and Joel, and then after school sees his Nan on the way home. I think you can tell when someone has poured their heart and soul into a book, and you can tell from the above that Ian has certainly done this.

A more heavily armored version of the Mark III, armed with a heavy Particle Beam Cannon and a light laser to defend itself while the cannon recharges. Only a few survivng suits remain, and these have been patched and repaired so many times as to bring in to question whether any original parts remain at all. At a time when LGBTQ+ rights and topics are in danger of being kept from young people, it’s more relevant than ever. Not to mention that James really wants to join the school choir in singing at his teacher’s wedding.

This is one of those “I want to give you a hug” books and I’m so glad I’ve had the pleasure of reading it.

I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to help their children learn more about the LGBTQIA+ society (especially general terms) as well as wanting them to read something about being the best them they can possibly be! This will be easier if you have supernatural strength or a rune weapon or even a fusion block (my personal favorite). While I’m a lot older than the target audience, this is exactly the kind of book I wish had been around when I was growing-up. The story becomes a powerful, credible, exposition of how boys and men so often police each other’s gender expressions and sexuality and how this risks strangling a child’s sense of self. It uses somewhat conventional 75mm ammunition which it accelerates to ludicrous speed by both narrowing the barrel diameter and applying electromagnetic force to the ammunition once in the barrel.

The novel's (part-autobiographical) study in homophobic bullying, internalised homophobia and the ways in which boys and men 'police' each other's gender expressions and sexuality is brilliantly conveyed. I'm sure when Quebec comes out they'll rectify this oversight, but then again I thought that there would again be a reason to fear Tattooed men when Splynn came out. You’ve recently appeared on the national news talking about LGBTQ+ inclusive education and Glitter Boy. Perfect for fans of: Me, My Dad and the End of the Rainbow by Benjamin Dean; The Secret Sunshine Project by Benjamin Dean; The Last Fire Fox by Lee Newbery; and Jamie by L. Once the party was over, Lemons says he was scared to post pictures of his made-up self on social media.
