I am talking about excruciating boring three person monologues, giving completely trivial details that added nothing to the story. Milly and Lucas share a passionate night together agreeing to a one-night-stand with no strings attached.And this was the first book that I've been able to read in a week that hasn't completely annoyed me. I thought he was going to be more involved in the romance, but his role was more on patching things up with Jax. Now that Aiden has agreed to be his fake boyfriend for appearance sake he needs to convince Aiden to give him a chance. This is insane considering the amount of all the scenes that didn't concern the relationship between the two main characters and, hence, I didn't feel a bit connected to them. Professional snowboarder and self-proclaimed bachelor, Jax Macintyre had a gold medal in one-night-stands.

The main characters had incredible chemistry from the start and I fell in love with everyone else in this story. Jax isn’t looking for a plus-one in life, but when he finds himself in a logistical nightmare heading up a snowboarding competition for his family’s lodge, he approaches her with a proposition. Self-appointed hall-monitor of life, Milly Smartt is ready to take some chances and live life balls-to-the-wall. It's book 1 in a series, but can be listened to as a standalone, and is guaranteed to make you laugh, cry and bring all the feels in-between.
