Brownie badges are very thick for those of you that have suggested its easy or get the brownie to do it. Etsy’s 100% renewable electricity commitment includes the electricity used by the data centres that host Etsy. It is important to test an inconspicuous area of the fabric first, to prevent damaging your garment.

Haven't stabbed (and it will be a stab, with the big needles and high forces required to get it through thick materials) myself yet, but I think its only a matter of time. Damage and scratches can be quickly fixed with the aid of this kit’s comprehensive accessories, which include everything you’ll need. I am endlessly picking up badges that have fallen off my Brownies' uniforms because the glue comes unstuck.

The Decopatch Paperpatch Glue Varnish is an exceptionally versatile glue, designed to work perfectly with Decopatch's range of paper. The time it has saved me sewing on badges, sticking hem back up repairing a knee patch would have been worth at least a tenner and I have hardly used any! Was thinking about some sort of fabric glue but it needs to be pretty strong and obviously they don't want the badges to fall off.

The only badges they have problems with are the iron on ones which do not hold up to being on a blanket that is used regularly, I have to go back and sew them on after a couple of months as they start peeling off. This adhesive will bond well with most materials and won’t leave any residue on your clothing when it dries. Best of all it dries quickly so you won’t have to wait long before wearing your garment or accessory again! I've managed to press a fairly beefy needle through my 1000denier Cordura rucksack fabric by the way, I have to use a thimble but it works. If glue remains after using warm soapy water, it will often de-bond within a couple of days due to general wear and tear and the natural oils in the skin.I sew my daughters (many, many) badges on and it's literally a case of the needle nearly snapping so it's not easy and I definitely wouldn't expect a 7-10 year old to manage it. Advice re purchase of clear glue for cloth materials I was looking for a quick repair for my mother's cloth vertical blinds.
