Project ILL has to be one of the coolest games I've seen within the horror genre in a long time, and it includes some of the most realistic dismemberment I've ever seen! Ultimately, however, it's not my job to watch what you do on the internet or keep you away from extreme films.

I aim to assemble a complete list of the sickest, nastiest, bloodiest, goriest, most brutal, violent, disturbing, disgusting and plain ol' extreme films ever made: everything from films that make you question your very existence to movies that make you nauseous. I opted for a small (my usual size 30″ waist) and they are a great fit over a base layer or something like Rab’s own Powerstretch tights. I did find that I was ready for it to end and might have given it 5 stars with one or two less victims (just my opinion). You can certainly use them in an over trousers role but that’s not their forte and Rab have better options in terms of weight and compactness if that’s what you are after. M] ([Mondo]) means that the film is a mondo or shockumentary (or occasionally a legitimate documentary). The dual ended side zips also make it easy to regulate your temperature by zipping from the waist down and giving your partner a little peek-a-boo at your base layer (a sexy black Brynje mesh number always adds a little zest to a Scottish winter day out) and help cool your thighs on those steep approaches.

Horror] After a first entry that I just couldn't take seriously, they came back with a bigger budget and made a sequel that I just couldn't take seriously. I think they function better as a study of what happens when something goes wrong in people's heads and they can commit such atrocities; they're certainly not entertaining by any means.The heavily-stylised (read: completely unrealistic) gore shouldn't upset most people too much but it's still a film best enjoyed with friends.
