Legends Class Starscream is a new sculpt based on his Generation 1 jet appearance with many fuselage details borrowed from the Masterpiece version. In exchange for the gun/fist/foot accessory of his original release, Starscream comes with the Power of the Primes Prime Armor that originally came with Dreadwind.

T. System, Starscream has 5 mm ports on his biceps, forearms, shins, under his feet (vehicle-mode thrusters), and wings. The wrists would probably be too fragile if they rotated and the waist design simply does not allow articulation. There have been reports of the fins on his ankles being discolored though my copy does not have this issue. Every pack includes a piece of the Transformers Universe map and a red decoder to unlock the map's hidden paths!His eyes have also been painted gold rather than using the old terrible sticker across the bridge of his nose. The paint is lovely, though prone to chipping on the crotch, the colours are vibrant, he’s got the perfect silhouette.

Like all the Base-launchers, the weapon on top of it is an homage to a different version of the character it came with. In Italy, GiG also forewent releasing the individual Classic Pretenders, and instead released their own version of the Hero Set named "Set Commandos".Starscream Ghost Version uses the altered version of the Classics Starscream mold that originated with Classics Skywarp and was last seen with Acid Storm (down to the 2006 copyright date stamped on it), rather than the modified version first used on Universe Starscream and the iterations that followed ( see below). This is the first Starscream in many years to attempt an entirely new transformation for him, with the arms now forming the rear of the jet and the legs folding under the wings. In this pursuit of realism, the most visible concession to the design was the abandonment of his traditional color scheme (which is much closer to a standard F-15's color scheme), replaced with an all-over greenish-tinged grey—a color scheme that is more accurate to the real-world version of the toy's F-15E Strike Eagle vehicle mode.
