Pressing the Panel button will switch to the amp Panel (the sound created by the position of the knobs and buttons on the amp control panel. With easy switching and flexible control, this is the ultimate accessory that will transform your amp. The Roland GA-FC features switches for controlling all four channels on the GA-112 and GA-212 amps, as well as the Manual channel. The two inputs on the GA-FC will accept a footswitch (FS-5U) and/or up to two expression pedals (EV-5, EV-30, FV-500L, FV-500H). Most Katana Amp users should be familiar with the Standard 6 footswitch GA-FC floor-based Foot Controller - which has been around since before the first Katana Amps were introduced in September of 2016.

They do NOT change color to green, yellow, red like on the amp switching between the effects loaded into the three slots.Unlike the standard GA-FC Foot Controller, The GA-FC EX has an in-built mode selector function which opens up powerful control capabilities with supported Katana MkII models. With the GA-FC EX's EXPAND mode, you can connect another GA-FC EX or a standard GA-FC (as shown above) for direct switching of memories and effects on a Katana MkII. Plug in up to two optional Expression pedals for volume and drive control, and link to additional stacked amps with the Link In/Out port. The two inputs on the GA-FC will accept either a footswitch ( FS-5U, FS-6 or FS-7) or an expression pedal ( EV-5, EV-30, FV500H, FV500L).
