If I had a problem with this kettle, as the spout is circular it will dribble water down the front of the kettle as you take it back from the pouring position to upright. I can't report on long-term use yet but here's hoping I get at least a year or two before any problems appear. The pouring spout is large and seems to me to have no splash when pouring into a mug (though I can't think why this should be different from other kettles but just seems so).
