About this deal

Dai decides to move to Tokyo after graduating from high school to become a saxophone player, and invites the patrons of the jazz bar who yelled at him on the first stage before coming to Tokyo to listen to his current performance. From his first music theory lessons to decisive encounters, with the first chaotic concerts, sacrifices and doubts, Dai will have to reconcile his unconditional love of music with his friends, family and work. Written and illustrated by Shinichi Ishizuka [ ja], Blue Giant was serialized in Shogakukan's Big Comic from May 10, 2013, [3] [4] to August 25, 2016. After that, as he continues his daily practice, the master of the jazz bar where Dai has appeared introduces Yui, a music class instructor.

I used to play the violin back in high school, I was in advanced orchestra even though I barely knew how to read music sheets! It’s this that throws him into the company of Yukinori (Shotaro Mamiya) a former piano prodigy old before his time, prickly with those less talented or privileged than himself, and almost ready to give up the jazz game entirely. On the other hand, Yukinori, a pianist, appears to be strong, but inside, he has a lot of pain that he does not show to others. The anime version, in the meantime, focusses on a liminal moment that the manga left behind many years ago – the day when Dai made the first big leap into a jazz career, and was stuck sofa-surfing around Tokyo while he hustled for a big break that actually paid money.People probably wouldn't know the magic of jazz and the point of playing saxophone for hours in the snow, but people will understand his drive and his love for the art.

With his days in senior year running out, Dai swears a heartfelt vow: "I'm gonna be the best jazz player in the world. Blue Giant, in its anime form, is merely a fragment of the long-running manga series by Shinji Ishizuka, which began over a decade ago in the pages of Big Comic magazine. I didn't even perform all that well and was stuck on second violin (To those who get what I mean, will get what I mean when I say that lol), but without a doubt still loved music. Phenomenal story, plot progression, and characters as the high school protagonist makes discoveries and mistakes in his quest to explore the Jazz idiom on tenor saxophone. Dai Miyamoto, a high school student living in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, has a straight personality, but he was living a student life without knowing what he wanted to do in the future.

He has no skills, no formal training, and no idea what he's up against, but his obsession drives him to play that instrument day after day.
