I loved reading about Claire, both in what she acknowledges, as well as what Delaney allows us to see as observers of her story. I started writing this review straight after finishing Believe Me and was convinced it was going to be a 5/5.

The main character is an aspiring actress who is supposed to 'act' / infiltrate this role to catch a 'killer'. The most fascinating use of this theme is in the way that characters are unsure whether they are deceiving not only others, but themselves. She has a background in foster homes and all that involves, or - probably more accurately - doesn't provide.JP Delaney's first psychological thriller, The Girl Before , was an instant Sunday Times and New York Times bestseller and went on to sell over a million copies worldwide.

I read this with a group of my traveling sisters and because we were always at very slightly different points in the book, our opinions and theories kept misaligning in a good way. There's a World of books to choose from such as: Children's Books, Range includes Baby Books (0-3), Books for Toddlers (3-5), Early Readers (5-7), Childrens Story books (7-11), Young Teens (11-14), Young Adults (14-16) and Childrens Educational Books. Due to the fact Claire is studying acting and likes to think of her own life as one big show, many of the interactions are set out like a screenplay and I found the constant change in format somewhat jarring, especially when I first started the book. This particular author is new to me but it sounds like she has written a number of Regency romances but from a smaller publisher and it looks like she has quite a fan base established and I am super excited to share more about this upcoming series with you guys today! Delaney showcases this power in his book, both through Baudelaire’s life and poetry, and through the story of the novel itself.It is VERY different to The Girl Before, and I’m now in awe of this incredible author who has now written two utterly enthralling and exciting reads!
