This is great for their personal, social and emotional development as they learn to communicate effectively and be patient. I’m a big fan of board games so I’m really pleased that my tweens seem to have my enthusiasm for them too.We were particularly impressed that the game even suggested strategies to help children (and grown ups) remember the tiles.

Set in a penguin school, the 3D board is made up of 5 classrooms, using a unique ‘box in a box’ set up, and players use different flicking techniques to move their naughty penguin around corners and through doorways in the game board to win a fish, while the Hall Monitor tries to stop them. Once the items have been dispatched through our service provider your item will take 1-2 working days to arrive. Located in the corners of the board these squares require you to find three of one of the symbol types.We always love finding games that we can all play together on family gatherings and at times like Christmas. I would be satisfied by the argument, that the board and the covers, add to the theme of the game, yet it has none. Baffled is a special case, because some of the things that give the game its novelty also work to its detriment. Ask squares allow you to ask another player to either name the symbol in a particular location or find the location of a symbol of your choice.

Recently Cheatwell Games asked us to review two of their games so last Friday night that’s exactly what we did. To sum up: train, a feature of the game, that is also key to its gameplay, and while its design could be simplified to bare bones two-leveled boxes, its look and design sets the wild-west theme of the game and creates an atmosphere unique to it. I plan to include Baffled in a future blog post on 10 great memory games, similar to my recent post on 10 great visual perception games. Another issue – not one that affects my family personally, but one I can see posing a problem for some others – is that a game based mostly on having good memory could be very easy for some, and very tricky for others. Game overview: you have 60 seconds to memorise the position of twelve symbol tiles; the symbols constantly swap and change positions; you have to find symbols, name them, swap them or test other players; the winner is the last player left in the game.Memory games can always be fun, in fact, arguably, the worse that your memory is, the more chaos will ensue and thereby adding even more joy to playing the game. I really love the simplicity of this game and you can really use any small sized object in the box so it will be ideal to take away with us. Try to reach your destination and get the most Destination Cards before other players, learn fascinating facts but beware of the Journey and Arrival cards or you could lose your luggage or miss a turn.
