About this deal

Biffy Clyro built a rabid cult following early in their career, establishing themselves among the best 2000s musicians in the process. MTV Unplugged: Live at Roundhouse, London: "Official Scottish Albums Chart Top 100: 1 June 2018 – 7 June 2016". It feeds the feral anger of dizzying opener Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies and the plaintive Machines: “Crazy as it sounds, you won't feel as low as you feel right now, at least that's what I've been told by everyone”.

A series of weekly updates on their official site slowly revealed letters of the new album title, and, after Rock Sound mistakenly revealed the album's name as "Only Exceptions", it was officially announced that the album would be titled Only Revolutions. But for the first time, the extent to which my behaviour was affecting everyone – and the future of everything – sank in. The first incarnation of what would eventually become Biffy Clyro was formed in 1995, when fifteen-year-old Ayr-based guitarist Simon Neil started playing his songs with friend Kilmarnock-born Ben Johnston. My Recovery Injection": "Official Scottish Singles Chart Top 100: 26 September 2004 – 02 October 2004".Few exceptions permitting, none of the tracks possess the grit of ‘Toys, Toys, Toys, Choke, Toys, Toys, Toys’, the progression of ‘Only One Word Comes To Mind’ or the grandiosity of ‘That Golden Rule’. Opposites is the sixth studio album by Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro, which was released on 28 January 2013. Biffy Clyro are a band who have always prided themselves on evading rock’n’roll clichés; they are three normal men, who live normal lives with normal wives and girlfriends in the very normal Ayrshire, in Scotland. A hip-hop beat informs the delicate Re-arrange and, for reasons only known to their label, the goosebump-delivering In The Name of the Wee Man can be found on deluxe versions.

From boundary-pushing EDM to genre-bending pop, the best albums of 2023 find fresh and exciting ways to challenge and inspire listeners. On 30 July 2012, the band announced on Twitter that a new track titled "Stingin' Belle" would be given its official premiere in the UK on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show the following evening, and that the music video for the song would be available from 9pm for 12 hours to members of the band's official fan club. The band contributed a cover of the Metallica song "Holier Than Thou" to the charity tribute album The Metallica Blacklist, released in September 2021.

Front cover type ("Biffy Clyro / Opposites") is orange - with the exception of the "/" which is white.Three albums under their belts and with a bearded Scottish diehard following already in tow, minor tweaks were made to transform their eccentric alternative rock style to launch it into the mainstream. In 2003, the band retreated to the Linford Manor recording studio in Great Linford, Milton Keynes, England, to record the follow-up to Blackened Sky.
