About this deal

the scent is just gorgeous. it’s so sugary sweet but somehow not overwhelmingly so. sometimes sweet perfumes can give me a headache, but this one doesn’t do that to me.

It’s hated and loved in equal measure, but this is one of the fragrances that truly smells intoxicating in the air, and also works great with other fragrances. Forget all the “Baccarat Rouge Killers” these people are just in denial trying to convince themselves it’s better so they don’t have to fork out for this horrendously priced beauty. After a rich, white chocolate made with the most finely ground almonds and a hint of simmered orange spice sugar syrup melts. This fragrance lives up to its hype! I'm such a longevity kind of person & this is an absolute beast when it comes to that. I get whiffs of it 12 hours after spraying it. It lasts even longer on clothes, so be careful not to choke people. As there is a higher oil content to make them last longer, with ALL perfumes, not just The Essence Vaults's perfumes, we do recommend that you take care when applying on clothes, and of course you do so at your own risk. Baccarat Rouge, like so many people say, smells of nothing. Nothing that you know. Or at least that you know from nature, that is close and familiar. It is a scent of the the post apocalyptic future that many of us already live in, a heart of a big conglomerate like London or New York. It encapsulates the feel, the aspiration and the belly of the beast. It tries to warm you up and give you some comfort with a bit of fancy pastry but you are still standing in the doorway of some big, multi-storey, closed-system-air-conditioned building. You end up on the top floor, open the window and get hit by the heat and a brown noise of the streets below. And then you see him. A a dying, beautiful android that has seen unbelievable things and lived hundreds of lives. Its batteries are overheating, he is reaching the end of his life. Tears lost in the rain. The flying dove. You can smell it all. Upon first spray my wife and I looked blankly at eachother, neither one of us wanting to be the one who could disagree with such a popular fragrance. I gave it a second chance the next day - nope, burn it off. Her friends came over the next day before a concert and I wouldn't let them try it. I insisted it would ruin their night, and anybody sitting near them.

BR 540 edp/extrait is an avant garde perfume. The smell is not quite floral nor gourmand; not quite cotton candy, not quite almond, not quite jasmine, not quite dental office, nor this or that! One needs to understand that BR 540 enhances one's aura, or even creates it, more than being just a perfume. It is transformative as one needs to spray it on their skin rather than on clothes to bring out ones own personal [pheromone] scent. But to be honest, I personally am a bit disappointed. The extrait is in many ways similar to its EDP sister.

It’s a challenge to find a fragrance that everyone seems to love, but Maison Francis Kurkdjian, I think you might have done it with your Baccarat Rouge 540 perfume. But for those who happen to either really like it or just love it but it's not IT (by that I mean it's not THE fragrance that makes your heart sing in a very special way even if you love it) then you may want to consider Cloud. I fall into the category of love it but not-my-fragrance-soulmate-love-it so I was on the fence. And for now I've decided that Cloud is enough for me. That may change but for now I'm happy.

Literally love at first sniff. Due to the price tag I tried a dupe first to get a feel for the smell without actually purchasing, and I will just say that ALL dupes of this smell cheap and synthetic in comparison. So I don’t really mind how many people I smell this scent profile on because very few of them are actually wearing the real thing and it’s simply not the same. Eau de Parfum, sweet with a floral punch; less nutty more amberwood and jasmine; this fragrance reveals itself more sweet than spicy, or woody. biancavlad74 If you smell rotten cherries and moldy coffee with a perfume, tell yourself that you have a serious problem, re-read when you review a perfume. The intoxicating scent is far from your average fragrance. In fact, it smells so good that Rihanna (yes, the same Rihanna who practically has been immortalized as a meme for smelling like heaven) even complimented me while I was wearing it.Barakkat Rouge 540 100ml Extrait de Parfum by Fragrance World (Inspired by Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum) It is a hard one to describe, because it is so well blended. But it hits all the olfactory targets for me. It's sweet, woody, creamy....it's like a cloud of fluffiness! ❤❤❤ Where you're right is not smelling the perfume you're wearing, all around you, I don't like it either, but let's stay objective when wearing a quality perfume, even if it's for yourself, let's be happy. I love the Oud and musk mix with amber and jasmine. The scent lasts long and leans masculine in my opinion.
