To keep everything running smoothly, the Virtual Campus PC (including the version accessed by Engineering students) will undergo scheduled essential system maintenance every Wednesday between 2AM and 6AM. a letter that can be used to request a Council Tax discount with the local Council if you’re eligible, i.e. you are studying full-time. Households where everyone is a full-time student do not have to pay Council Tax. You’ll get a Council Tax bill if there’s someone in your household who’s not a full-time student, but your household might qualify for a discount. if you will be working with young or vulnerable people as part of your course, you must have started the Disclosure and Barring Service clearing process When logging in to MyRecord to register, you must use the 'Applicant Login' option. (Once you have a Canterbury Christ Church University computing account and username, you'll also be able to access MyRecord using the 'Student and Staff Login'.) Submission to Turnitin must be in a single file, therefore your front cover sheet, assignment and bibliography/appendix must be combined into a single file.
If you prefer to search by course title, you'll also find the official title of your course in MyRecord. When searching by name, it also also if you 'Select A Department' to filter the potential results. By 'Department', UniTimetables means the School or Centre that teaches your course or select ‘BA/BSc Combined Honours if you’re studying a combined course. (If you're unsure of your School/Centre, you'll find that in MyRecord too!) If any of the tiles within the 'Application(s)' area are coloured red, this means there is something you must do to be eligible to register. For example: completed the online occupational health questionnaire (if you will be studying a relevant Education or Health and Social Care subject).met, and accepted, the academic and other conditions of your offer (you'll have an 'Unconditional Offer' against your application in MyRecord)
Please save your work regularly and log off before 2AM. If you are still logged on when maintenance starts, you will be disconnected until maintenance is complete and the system is restored. If you're looking for the teaching timetable for your course, it's best to search by course code. This is because your course code is unique whereas another course might have a very similar name. You can find your course code in MyRecord, under ‘My Studies’> 'My course details' if you are a current student, or under 'Application(s) if you haven't yet registered. There must be a separate folder for final submissions for each assessment using Turnitin, within which there must be separate submission points for final (on-time) and after deadline submissions.Once you are fully or temporarily registered, you are eligible for your student smartcard (some exceptions apply). This gives you access to a range of student services and is also your university student ID card. Find out more, including arrangements for getting your smartcard. We recommend saving your files in OneDrive wherever possible. However, not all applications are able to save directly to OneDrive. You can save files to the Desktop or Documents folder from your Virtual Campus PC, and these files will be accessible the next time you access the service. Please be aware that you will not be able to access these files outside of the Virtual Campus PC.
