It's a great way of adding retinol to your routine without having to layer serums and moisturisers in the morning. I didn't find it particularly hydrating but I have dry-normal skin, and I think this would suit anyone with normal or combination skin quite well.

When I first opened the jar and smelled it I really liked the floral smell, but when I applied it to my face, the scent was too intense and never died down. As I've got older, I've wanted to start using Retinol in my skincare but I've always been a bit apprehensive due to to the side effects such as dry, sensitive skin, flaky skin etc. One thing I’m not a big fan of though is the packaging, the cream comes in a jar which I find unsanitary. Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkles Repair Cream feels like a silky soft cream that has a thick texture but spreads evenly on the skin without having to use tons of product. Even though this cream is pretty thick, it doesn’t require that much product to cover the entire face and neck.

I’ve used several moisturizers and anti-aging creams before and I’ve never had a problem with sensitive skin but this stuff has literally burnt my face. The first two times I used it I felt a tingling sensation but I read the packaging and it stated this was normal.

When I actually did what I was supposed to, it renewed the skin at a slower rate and that’s when I saw improvement.Under eyes are brighter Really easy to apply and the little nozzle is the perfect size to make sure you don’t over apply. Good I’ve been using this product for just over four weeks now, I’m always wary using anything retinol based as it can cause irritation, and with this being an eye product I was even more so with the delicate skin around the eyes. It was easy to apply and soaked in well but I found that if I rubbed my skin later in the day bits of the cream would peel off. Isohexadecane, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Triethyl Citrate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Retinol, Glycine Soja Oil, Bisabolol, BHT, Tocopherol, Tocopheryl Acetate. To sum up, this cream visibly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, and skin texture. The cream I super moisturising and sits well under makeup although I did put extra spf on top as 15 isn’t enough for me. The consistency is unlike other products I've tried as it's more oil/serum based so it glides over the skin very easily. I wouldn't recommend this product for people who have never used retinol before as it may be too much for their skin, particularly as it is an Intense serum.

Retinol Rescue Having used this product for the last month, I can honestly say there has been a difference in my skin tone and texture.

It contains pure Retinol in a 0,1% concentration which allows this ingredient to provide its benefits while still being well tolerated. Great cream, definite results Really enjoyed using this cream, I only used it 3 times a week for the first 2 weeks as was worried about how my face would react to the retinol. The cream is easy to apply and absorbs well and for me didn’t cause any irritation which I was worried about due to it being a retinol cream.
