And, shockarma, his parents are nice and think she's just the kind of girl to help the H get a grip. The way it just explodes into a giant mess that could become a complete and utter tragedy, but you can’t stop watching it. However, it doesn't take away from the story as their undeniable attraction and sexual compatibility is the basis of their relationship. I also enjoyed Julian's interaction with his daughter when she came out, saying she was too young for labels but when she did fall in love, he would accept them whether they were a man or a woman. Masters is not a man who is still mourning after his beloved dead wife and doesn’t want to love and lose another woman again.

But sadly, there was way too much of that and not enough of the rom com vibe, so it didn’t work for me. Smith and asks for two girls (Hannah and Belinda) before going to the exclusive penthouse where he has them help him relax. That said, the book is all over the place in whether it wants to be another FSOG knockoff with tons of sex or a great story about a bright woman that comes in helps a family heal. I got SO tired of reading " I swallowed the lump in my throat" or "My eyes filled with tears" every other sentence.I changed my rating so many times while reading this book I can't tell which way is up or down anymore. However, towards the end, they cannot keep their hands off each other at the house and Julian starts to come to her room after the children sleep. Some parts felt too convenient, some did not make much sense, and I'm not the first one to say how badly this author needs an editor ( not even a good one, any will do at this point), because mamma mia, it wasn't even funny at times.
