Try it on dry hair instead of damp I started using this mask in late September after getting my hair done and dying it red. I do find it rather messy to use; all over the shower after each wash as well, but it washed off my skin easily after application and hasn’t transferred to towels/sheets/clothing.

Note: Colour Depositing Masks add temporary colour that is designed to fade out gradually over time. Before committing to a full head of colour, we recommend conducting a strand test first to assess the level of colour deposition. Start by choosing a small piece of hair to test, ideally one that's mostly hidden when your hair is styled normally. It offers temporary, vibrant copper color while deep-conditioning your hair, leaving it healthier and more radiant.

Colour results and longevity also depend on hair porosity, if the hair is virgin (untreated), and how frequently you wash your hair. Play with fun fashion shades (like Aquamarine, Hibiscus, Rose Gold, and Platinum), enhance your existing colour with, golden-hued Champagne or crimson-brown Bordeaux, or apply as needed to maintain your salon color between visits. Apricot Kernel Oil: a high concentration of oleic acid, linoleic acid and Vitamin E helps to soften and improve hydration of the hair and scalp. I followed the instructions: freshly washed hair, towel dried, combed through the color after application, and let it sit for a full 7 minutes.
