I hope Glorious can fix this via an update because all mouses have a switch as the main controller even when plugged in. And to no ones suprise the qc sucks, it creaks a lot when I put any pressure on the sides and the buttons wobble and creak a lot. Aiming in Escape from Tarkov is also crucial for precise lethal hits, and there’s a bit of leeway on how you move so I was perfectly fine with the Model D again. After using it for about a week the left and right mouse buttons started to develop some play, nothing deal breaking but definitely noticeable.This is mainly an issue when the mouse battery dies, so I have to plug it in and use another mouse (rather use wireless than wired), and also at night when I plug it in, the RGB takes a while to go out and even then, slight movement on the table(even the fan’s vibration triggers the mouse to turn on) will trigger the mouse to switch on. The dedicated DPI indicator can be set to any value and colors you choose (requires software), so you always know your value when adjusting on the fly. You can use the spudger or knife on its own without using the hairdryer, especially if you're unsure of how long to heat the feet up by.
Let me just start off by saying this mouse has somehow gotten worse in the 7 months I haven't used it. The company is finally dipping their toes into the wireless form factor with their renowned Model series, keeping the same design while cutting the cord. The only game I kind of struggled with was Quake Champions, partially because I haven’t trained in a while, but movement in this game is so fast paced that I was struggling to land shots and immediately felt better when I switched to my lighter and smaller MM711. Finally, once the grip tape is properly applied, use a sharp hobby knife or scissors to trim any excess grip tape from around the edges of your mouse. Software has all you need, though the lowest you can go is 400 DPI and some people who moved from Logitech like me used to use 200/350 DPI have to adapt to 400.
