I have a bunch of Marvel Legends to review to wrap up the year but since Toad is one of the extra special Marvel Legends: 20th Anniversary Series figures, I'll start with him. Look for other Marvel Legends Series 1 figures (each sold separately) inspired by the iconic Marvel Legends Series, including Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America!

I like the tongue head for a novelty, but I’m sticking with the grinning head for my default Toad head. The only downside I can think of is that the game's theme is really secondary to the gameplay/mechanisms. Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you. There's a comic cover on one side and art on the other that at least homages the ML1 base: a dirty swamp with the sun coming through the trees overhead. His shaggy hair does keep his head from topping up very far, something he needs to be able to do if he's going to be looking up at everyone around him. I do feel like I should mention that despite all of this articulation, he still can’t perform a crotch-to-floor split. He wasn't originally intended for Marvel Legends, and thus he looked and was articulated quite differently from the other three figures in the first series (Cap, Hulk, and Iron Man). In fact, if I can bury this article in hyperbole for a second, this might be one of the best Marvel Legends figures of the year, or even longer.

while Hasbro's is much more average - he's short (just reaching the 6⅛" mark when he's standing straight up) and doesn't have much discernable muscle tone showing through his wrinkled outfit, but he's no more "fat" than Reed Richards is. Like we said, X-Men Forever opted to make comicbook Toad more like his movie counterpart, which meant making him look like Ray Park. Royal Mail cut off time for same day dispatch is 2pm, however on busy days we can not guarantee an item goes out the same day. They do contribute to making what could have been a very basic feeling figure seem more visually interesting and more complex.
