The Liquid Freezer II Series AIO coolers feature a newly developed PWM-controlled pump, boasting a copper base, improved efficiency, lower power usage and quiet operation. I think push configuration is like 1-2C cooler not completely sure, seems to be pretty negligible temperature wise but the way the dust gets stuck with a push configuration is a pain to clean since I have to remove the fans to clean properly and the dust ends up stuck between the fan blades and radiator. This feature works in a way that actively seeks high temperatures: If the chip sees that it is running underneath the 100-degree C threshold, it will increase its performance and power consumption until it reaches the safe 100C limit, thus sustaining higher clocks (and providing better performance) for longer periods. I also had one fan which wobbled causing it to constantly scrape against the radiator and had to be loosened to the point of almost falling off. Some mention that it's easy to install and the instructions are clear, while others say that it can be a little confusing to install.
It performs effortlessly with over 200 W of heat to be dissipated, which is why your CPU can be kept cool even in extreme overclocking.That said, if you front-mount the radiator, having the VRM fan on the block could be somewhat beneficial in scenarios where an overly hot configuration is used.
My brother has the older non-RGB Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 on his 5950X, and it makes overnight rendering possible. The test is also tough to standardize since every motherboard will have different heatsinks and positioning, so although you can mostly extrapolate out a hierarchy, it’s not perfectly comparable to every configuration. With a pump and radiator, ship pressure tested, pre-filled, and sealed directly from the factory to provide maintenance-free operation for years, it all sounds good. We understand that most of our viewers only have two hands and are unable to deploy their fourth-dimensional abdominal hands, so although we could do this, we wanted to keep it realistic for the audience. Keep in mind that noise measurements are logarithmic, meaning the differences between the noise levels of the coolers will be more substantial to the human ear than these charts suggest.This is an excellent solution as the cable management is far cleaner than what a typical end-user could achieve. As a heads up it seems like the pump always runs at 100% when the pwm signal is at 40% minimum which is fine with me since at 100% it's inaudible for me and there's no rpm sensor for the pump (intended), it will only register the rpm of the fans connected with the daisy chained cable. Idle temperatures also plot the lowest, not that this is particularly useful, and that’s partly because of the VRM fan slightly reducing heat in the area of the socket. Big air coolers are still close by in performance, so for builders who have their heart set on the Noctua NH-D15 or similar, those coolers aren’t invalidated by the Arctic solution.
