The MK3 version of the Launchpad Mini now includes brighter, full RGB colour pads to perfectly match your clips and scenes. You can switch this off and use the new sensitive pads almost like touch sliders for direct control, although you then lose the smooth interpolation. Use Novation Components – our online hub for all things Novation – to customise MIDI mappings, and control almost anything; three custom modes mean you can design how this compact grid controller works for you – you're only limited by your imagination.

For more-experienced producers looking to create their own MIDI mappings, the Launchpad Mini MK3 features 3 powerful custom modes. It makes it easy to play alongside other music applications like Reason, Serato and an ever-growing number of iOS apps and Link-integrated hardware. Fixed chord mode – play a chord with one finger - assign a fixed chord shape to the keys and it’ll transpose as you move up and down the keyboard.

Each has selectable MIDI channel, CC, value and colour settings, and widgets can be freely combined as long as they fit within the 8x8 grid.
