About this deal

The headphone comes with a digital volume control and is equipped with 32mm drivers that deliver high-quality sound. It will remain unconnected until connected manually, or until it is reset again, after which it should connect to the last connected device, as usual. No more snagging your cable on your bag during your commute - just connect to your smartphone using Bluetooth and you'll have a hassle-free journey, at least when it comes to your music. Personalize your JBL Live 660NC headphones with the My JBL Headphones app, which allows you to change the EQ sets, select your preferred Voice Assistant, set your Smart Ambient settings and much more.

As previously mentioned, these headphones are wireless – however, they come with a detachable cable, meaning you can listen to your music tethered if you so wish (and your smartphone has a socket for it). He might not have the wealth or the looks of Tony Stark, but when it comes to knowing about the latest cool kit, Paul would surely give Iron-Man a run for his money. Starting off with the design, and the JBL Tune600BTNC has a fairly basic approach to headphones, offering a supra-aural (on-ear) style of headphones that offers a fairly tight fit from its plastic band, with a pleather set of ear cushions to keep your ears comfy while you jam. On the plus side, this does keep it free of dust and debris but it also means it isn’t possible to charge and wear the Tune 600BTNC at the same time. My impression is that JBL aims this model at a target audience that wants to use headphones with their mobile device while listening to current genres—that works well. This relatively up to date version does without the Apt-X codec support that is the mark of the premium models and has to make do with SBC instead. You’re less likely to lose your way with these, though we did press 'volume down' instead of 'volume up' a few times. The frequency response throughout is great, not too much bass is forced and with the bass boost button on the side of the headphones, you can change the low end frequency response to what suits you. There’s no mention of AAC or aptX codec support, so it seems that they use the standard SBC codec for stereo music.

The headphones were equally competent when handling the higher frequencies, Tom Morello's menacing guitar licks sounding as crisp as a prawn cracker. The first number of the IP rating refers to protection against dust, while the second number refers to protection against liquid. In case you fancy at the minimum a commonplace level of Bluetooth distance, these ones should please you with 10 m. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Comfortable to wear (even asleep) and with overnight charge, they never fail throughout following day, with around 8-10 hours use.

Connect wirelessly to your device for amazing sound quality with JBL Tune 600BTNC Wireless Bluetooth Noise-Cancelling Headphones. One final note, the Bluetooth connection screen of my Google Pixel 2 XL phone confirmed that the headphones include no advanced codecs. Pairing and re-pairing is completely straightforward and once you have connected, it is completely stable and the range on offer is sufficient to allow you to wander away from your Bluetooth source- up to a few meters- without any interference or drop in quality.
