One of the poles developed a small crack after about a year but we just wrapped some duct tape around it and never had another issue.

I have used few time this tent for family ( 2 Adults and 3 kids)camping holiday, it is good size tent and well designed. There are quite a few options, that’s why I prefer 5-berth tents over the 4-berth tents, and, in some cases, they can be more versatile than a 6-berth tent. Only reason it lost one star is because the zips don't line up, one is straight and the other is curved meaning every time you get in or out of the tent you have to undo the two zips separately. I have come a cross with all type of weather with vango iracus 500 dlx , I will definitely recommend this tent . Did not stand up to windy conditions on recent trip-two more split poles and although rest of tent good quality and design, can't recommend due to this.As for camping in hot or cold weather, well, bad news, polyester does not have great thermal properties: it won’t keep you cool when it’s hot outside and and won’t keep you warm when it’s cold outside. The wind was unbelievable and the rain was,but the tent was bone-dry and the tent took a real hammering it was very scary,there was no damage to the tent when we checked in the morning. There is a good space between the inner sleeping quarters compartment and the outer, so I am assuming less chance of condensation from touching surfaces. We purchased the side awning to use as a kitchen area, leaving the front awning to use as dining/living room. The sleeping area can be divided into two bedrooms, giving you some privacy and separation from your fellow campers.

Since owning ours she has done 3 x 2 week trips to Spain and Cannes and is ready for the next adventure this August. The canvas is still in good condition, we've needed to make minor repairs to an internal zip and one of the rear elastic fixings.The spacious front porch is great for storing gear, furniture, bikes etc, and large windows give great all-round visibility and let light in. The living area is more than 8 square metres, which is not as large as the Coleman Mosedale 5‘s for example, but much larger than the Eurohike Rydal 500‘s living room.
