About this deal

Safe and Reliable, Easy and Effective : The most advanced circuit design and charging algorithm ensures a much more reliable charging and discharging no matter at overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, short circuit and other anomalies. Batteries charged outside this temperature range may experience leakage, heat generation or cell damage. Large IPS Screen-faster response, larger viewing angle, true color, excellent dynamic picture, no water mark, environmental protection. Them big chargers I had did like 15 per side but was a massive charger and also had no balance functions. The Hota doesn’t and requires an external resistor be added to burn away energy when doing a capacity test.

It's a little bigger, than the D6 Duo, but another plus to me is the metal frame instead of plastic. I strongly recommend checking yours against a calibrated voltage checker and calibrate it accordingly to ensure LiPo safety. You can see the internal resistance during charging, which is useful for monitoring the health of your battery. e. using an external power supply or from a battery, then it doesn’t matter which charger you get, both will offer the same performance.

But for the S6, you need to use a powerful enough PSU to get the most out of it and justify spending the extra money, as AC can already do 400W, e.

During charging, you can view the cell voltages, IR (internal resistance) of each cell, and power info. I checked the voltage reading of the M6DAC outputs against my calibrated multimeter, it’s pretty accurate. Quickly and easily charge your iPhone, Samsung S8 and other wireless charging compatible mobile devices. Never charge a LiPo pack that has ballooned or swelled due to over / under charging or from a crash. Hota doubled the AC power from 200W in the D6 Pro to 400W in the S6, while DC performance remains the same at 650W.It can be used as a power supply with adjustable voltage output too, which turns it into a handy bench PSU just like the P200. I'd love to hear you guys' opinions on it and maybe if there is something else out there that I missed.

The electronics of an FPV Drone consist of Brushless Motors, Speed Controllers (ESC) and Flight Controllers (FC). For me this charger is good for the home, it is a little large for my liking and I would prefer the D6 Pro.

Note that with DC powered, you can use the full 700W power (350W per channel), but with AC, the max power is limited to 200W (100W per channel). The HOTA D6 Pro supports 2 channels of 325W charging and features a highly optimized charging algorithm with efficiency up to 94%. This modern smart charger is packed full of features that anyone who fly’s on a regular basis will benefit from. I played with the Hota a bit yesterday evening and the few checks I did are going in the right direction.

Reddit and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to provide you with a better experience. But even for me, 200W from AC is more than enough :) 200W can finish charging 8x 4S 1500mAh LiPo at the same time in under one hour.
