Another great product from the HG range, the carpet and upholstry cleaner has been specially formulated for cleaning carpet and furniture upholstry with either carpet cleaning machines or by hand. We particularly advise using it on furniture that may be more heavily used or is prone to water splash.

Our carpets were looking super rough, we are renting and it doesn’t seem like the previous tenants took great care of them, so I wasn’t expecting any miracles. It is a smooth, creamy, odourless paint that is self-priming, self-levelling (therefore little to no brush marks) and self-sealing with excellent coverage. Woollen carpets can also slowly lose their natural wool grease, making it easier for a build up of dirt. With time, the same kind of thing happens to wool carpets in that the natural oils of the wool disappear slowly making it more susceptible to marking.

Our superior synthetic flat brushes are fantastic, while our wax brushes offer a shorter, firmer bristle, which is ideal for getting into all the ‘nooks and crannies’. The result was pretty impressive cleaning as well as if not better than my usual more expensive brand - effective on the stubborn marks when sprayed on before going over with the machine! It is a self-priming paint (but will need sealing with our wax / finishing coat) which is rich and creamy, always giving superior coverage. How to use: Spray the carpet cleaner and vacuum up immediately or use a soft brush/sponge to rub in the solution and then rub out with a terry cloth towel.
